The First Place recipient of the most recent IRSFF competition was Naveen Mu (India) with his story, originally titled ‘A Fool’s Paradise’. Naveen’s unique & touching story on the springs of hope emerging from the household of a bitter old couple isolated in the wilderness was filmed on the outskirts of Tamil Nadu, India and is currently playing at esteemed world film festivals with its new title “LITTLE WINGS”. The short film features editing and music by popular Tamil cinema names Philomin Raj (Vikram, Kaithi) and Santhosh Dhayanidhi, respectively. The film won the BEST SHORT FILM award at the 14th International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala. Little Wings was also the only Tamil language short film to be selected by the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa as part of the Indian Panorama program.
